My name is Jonathan Winstead II and I want to inform you a little about me and my aspirations for my future in both athletics (baseball) and my personal life. Sports has always been something I enjoyed, watched, and wanted to go pro in. I have played 5 sports which include soccer, football, golf, basketball, and most importantly baseball. While competing in these sports, I've continued to be on the A honor role or higher along with other academic achievements such as being accepted into the Junior NHS, NHS, and National Beta Club etc. My aspiration as far as college goes is to earn either an academic or athletic full-ride scholarship and have MLB teams see me play. I inevitably chose to devote myself to baseball because I was inspired by my Grandfather and how much he loved the game by either playing, watching or refereeing before he passed away. What separates me and makes me a good candidate for your team is that I understand that being a student-athlete means that your education comes before sports. I am coachable and willing to change to learn from my mistakes. I am respectfully towards others, and I have a belief in myself that may seem insane and delusional to others, but every legend was seen as delusional to many. If people get confused by your work ethic because of how hard you're working....you're doing something right!
