Coach,
I am a 2025 graduate taking advanced classes and maintaining a 3.4/4.0 GPA. I have many interests academically and have not yet narrowed down what I want to major in at college. I have played baseball since I was three-years old, playing tee-ball. I started traveling with teams when I was 9, and have traveled every year since. I started every conference and tournament game as the varsity catcher at West Fargo Sheyenne High School, in West Fargo, North Dakota, as a Sophomore and expect to maintain that starting position for the upcoming season. I was the everyday catcher for the North Dakota Class A State Champions in 2023 and served as the backup catcher as a Freshman on on the 2022 Class A State Champions as well. My main position is catcher, but I play outfield and pitch when needed.
During the summer, I played catcher, outfield, and pitched for Minnesota Starters 16u Red. I was named to the all tournament team as a pitcher and batter at the 16U WWBA Midwest Elite Championship Tournament held in Marion, Iowa in June 2023. I played with the 16U and 18U Dakota Selects team int eh Fall of 2023. I plan to play for Minnesota Starters 17U Red in the summer of 2024 after my high school season ends.
My goal is to play college baseball at an elite level. I hope to be able to do so with your school.
Thank you for your consideration,
Jaxon Zavadil
