At the age of 16, I'm not quite sure what I want to do when I graduate high school. But there are two things I am sure of: one, I want to get a college degree, and two, I want to play baseball at the collegiate level. I've played organized sports since I was in kindergarten: football, basketball, and baseball. But this past year, I decided to focus solely on baseball. I'm a left-handed pitcher who bats right and can play outfield as well. I play for our school team and for a travel team. I've played travel baseball for four years now. I work very hard in the offseason and during the season to become the best player I can be. My coaches will tell you that I'm a leader on the mound and in the dugout. I am the first one to practices, games, and the first one out of the dugout to meet my team mates when they come off the field. I am vocally supportive of my entire team, and I keep a very positive attitude. My ability to compete with a level head has been helpful to me in stressful game situations. I hope to bring that mentality to a team after I graduate high school.
