Ben Tepperman '26 Recruiting Profile

On the field, my goal is to get drafted. Regardless of how late, I love the game, and hope to play it as long as possible. I don't think I could imagine my life without baseball. If baseball doesn't work out, i'd like to work in a MLB front office, especially pitching. I love advanced stats, and have a love for studying the game, and predicting breakouts, playing fantasy with friends, ect. Last year, my pre-season dark horse Cy-Young pick was Dylan Cease, this year, being Eovoldi, which has looked very good thus far. I'm willing to play anywhere on the diamond if it helps my team. As well, I'm a very fast learner of new mechanics, or new positions. I'll never take myself out of a game, and will fight until the last pitch, my coach has said i'm "almost to hard of a worker," and that "sometimes less is more." Although he may be right, my commitment to improving myself, and thus, improving the team around me, is front and center in my life. All in all, I think my knowledge for the game, and for mechanics, as well as my love and passion for the sport, all allow not just me, but also my team  to preform better.
