My name is Dylan Shepherd and I was born on March 17, 2003, and I live in Barrie, Ontario Canada.
I started playing both baseball and hockey at age four in my local youth sports teams and moved onto Rep in both sports at the age of 10. In hockey, I played at the A level but in baseball, I moved onto AAA and then Elite level and in 2019 I decided to concentrate all my efforts in baseball but continued house league hockey.
During my time playing baseball, I have played for the Barrie Red Sox, Newmarket Hawks and now play for the Ontario Blue Jays. I have played in the Canadian Nationals Baseball as well as being on various Ontario Baseball Association championship finalist teams.
I am a hard-working, fast learner and eager to learn anything my coaches are will to teach me. I lift weights and work out regularly in our family gym set up in our basement due to the COVID restriction we are all living with and get to the batting cage any time I am able.
For the last few years, I have been going to Panama City, Panama, where my mother is from to visit family and train with coaches there in the off season.
My goal is to attend college or university in the United States to pursue an education in either Sports Management or Business Administration as well as continue to play baseball and accel in both.
I think I would be a great addition to a college or university team and would be pleased to hear from any coach interested in me.
Thank you for your time and hope to hear from you soon.
