Hello, My name is Trevor Young, I am a 6'-2" 175# Left Handed Baseball player from a 2A High School in Monroe Oregon where I am a senior. However I have played in a 5A baseball System growing up.When I was younger I played Little League in Corvallis and was an All-Star , I was one of the top players in the League, I also played Senior Federal for Crescent Valley, I have since been a Varsity starter for Monroe HS Since I was a Freshman.
My Sophomore year I was All-League DH, and All-State Honorable mention 1st base, My Junior year I was Player of the Year in our League, And 1st team Pitcher, I was also All-State First team 1st Baseman, I had only 6 strikeouts at the plate this year, 45 hits, with 51RBI’s, My ERA was 2.04 . we finished Undefeated in League Play at 15-0, I also Tried out and made the Corvallis Oregon American Legion Team (Richey’s Market), I was one of the starting first baseman, I also did some Pitching as well, I led the team this year for the Marketmen with a .423 Batting ave.,and had a 3.94 ERA. I have always been able to step up and play good at the higher levels, One of my biggest assets is I don’t get rattled easy, if at all, I am calm and cool under pressure,I have above average speed running, I am Not a hard throwing pitcher, But I have good command of the strike zone, I don’t have tremendous HR power at the plate, But I do put the ball in play, I am a good two strike line drive hitter, I also Play Football And Basketball, Where I have also received All-League Honors .I would like to find a school where I could study Engineering or Criminal Justice, I get pretty good grades and am especially good at math, My current GPA is around a 3.22, I would like to be able to continue to play baseball while going to College.Thank you for your time….Trevor Young
