Phillip Taylor '25 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I started playing baseball at the age of 5 I fell in love with the game. My goal would be to find a college that would support me not just with the game of baseball, but also with my academics. My main position is a left handed first baseman who can hit the ball all over the field not just pulling the ball or gap to gap. At my secondary position I am a left handed pitcher who throws a 4-seam fastball, 2-seam fastball, slider, and circle- change up. On the baseball diamond, my teammates and other younger players come to me seeking advice on how to improve their baseball abilities. I practice everyday no matter if it is raining or fields are not able to be used. I will hit baseballs and throw baseballs into a net. I am willing to explore any opportunities that will enhance my baseball abilities after high school.
