Stephen Ricicki '24 Recruiting Profile

At college my interest is Exercise Science/Kinesiology.  Post baseball career, my goal is to Coach at a higher level of the game.

I'm a solid all-around player with a strong desire to win.  I set high goals and expectations for myself that are measurable and competitive - using these as motivation to always be "up" and stay focused.  Remaining calm under pressure and not getting upset easily or staying upset for long periods of time is a trait that I have developed and grown into.  This contributes to my performance because it helps with consistency for myself and the team.  

Assimilating new plays or techniques is something that comes fairly natural to me. I can adjust and adapt to changes on the field or during competition.  I learn by watching film or how other players execute.  As well, I continue to practice mentally - picturing myself from new angles and perspectives.   I can handle feedback/criticism and am be able to bounce back from a mistake quickly. 

I'm looking forward to continuing my baseball path where I can have a good relationship with the Coaches, and play with teammates who equally want to work hard to win games.
