2022 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I am a 5’10 2025 goalkeeper from Easton Area High School, Easton, PA. I have a 4.1 GPA and am in the top 3% of my class. I love a challenge in both the classroom, and on the field. Having the chance to push myself and see what I’m capable of is something I yearn for. I‘m not afraid of a challenge, nor am I afraid of failure. While I always want to excel, I find that the growth that comes from failure is sometimes the most powerful. On a team, I want to be a voice of positivity. Being a goalie, aside from blocking shots, I find that one of our most important jobs is talking and helping the defense. I pride myself in my ability to talk to my teammates, while being a voice of encouragement rather than negativity. Truly, I love field hockey, and I want to go far in this sport. I hope to find a spot on a team that I will not only thrive athletically and academically, but that I will be able to make an impact.
