Dear Coach,
My name is Riley McLaughlin, and I've had a dream since i was a young boy to play college baseball. I love baseball more than anything in the world and I am an extremely hard worker. I put in a lot of time in the classroom, weight room, and on the field. I believe to get better you have to put in time and effort on your own (outside of practice). Last thing i would like to say about myself individually is that I am a team player first, I love to win and will do anything to get it.
As of right now I weigh approximately 156 pounds. I have a huge offseason workout plan set including 4-5 days of heavy lifting, and 2 days of speed training. My goals statistic wise are to get to 170 pounds, 60 time down from 7.20 to a 6.90, arm strength from 78 to around 83, and an increase in my bat exit speed. I set many goals and work my hardest to reach them.
I don't really care if I attend a DI, DII, or a DIII college. What I'm looking for most in a college is a good academic program. My dream is to go to college and work towards my future career while playing baseball. Thank you for taking your time to look at my profile and I hope you have a great day.
Thank You, Riley
