Personal Statement

I’ve been working hard my whole life for the opportunity to play collegiate baseball and contribute to the success of a winning program with a great tradition.  I enjoy the game and all the highs and lows that it brings, but what I truly love the most about baseball is the opportunity it provides to compete in the high stakes and pressure situations with my teammates.  I consider myself a student of the game and enjoy the many mental aspects of baseball.  It would mean so much to me to be given the opportunity to continue to play the game I love at a high level of competition after high school and beyond, and I would put whatever hardwork it takes to make this happen and ensure not only my success, but the success of the team.

I would be a great addition to many schools because not only do I want to contribute to the success of the baseball program, but I’m also excited to pursue my hopes and dreams in the classroom of an excellent academic university.  I'm a hardworking and committed individual and always challenge myself, but I truly understand the importance of academic success and the role it plays in my life success.  I’m always striving to be my very best on and off the field and understand the commitment it will take to be successful in both areas.  I work well under pressure and want to be on the mound when the game is on the line.  I’m a team leader and a good teammate and I understand its importance because baseball is a team and not an individual sport.

My primary goals are to play baseball and obtain an Engineering degree from a top university that will not only help me grow and successfully compete on the baseball field, but will also challenge me in the classroom and prepare me for future life challenges.  I want to be part of a great university and baseball family through my college years and beyond. I see myself as an impact player and truly believe I can be a positive addition to a baseball team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
