All of my life, I have loved the sport of baseball and I have always worked extremely hard in pursuing my goal of playing at the college level. I have made it a goal to be successful in baseball and in the classroom. When I am not on the field or studying, I am in the weight room working hard to always better myself. I am a reliable and trusted teammate and I know I am a valuable member to any team on the field or off the field. I always appreciate feedback and instruction from coaches and immediately apply it.

- See Video: Named to Top Prospect List: Kenny Askin is a 2025 SS/MIF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Landenberg, PA who attends Avon Grove. Askin worked exclusively from the IF, displaying quick twitch actions with tons of lateral range present. He showcased a repeatable release and got the ball out quickly and accurately across the diamond up to 81 mph. Overall can be described as a natural athlete and reliable piece in the IF with additional projection on the way. Offensively, the righty started from a wider slightly open base with a toe tap trigger, generating contact to all parts of the field. He consistently found the good part of the barrel with further room to incorporate the lower half in the future. Ran a 7.27 sixty yard dash. - LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT 2022 WWBA WORKOUT SHOWCASE (JUNE 23) Kenny Askin is a 2025 SS/RHP, 2B, OF with a 5-10 125 lb. frame from Landenberg, PA who attends Avon Grove. Recorded a 7.71 second 60-yard dash time. Primary shortstop with a high-waist frame and slender build. Pretty quick feet moving around with deep funnel to exchange and quick release on throws. Throws across the diamond from a lower 3/4 arm slot at 75 mph. Solid hands with frame to add size and strength moving forward. Right-handed hitter with an open stance and wider base. Toe-tap trigger with coil of upper half into stride. Middle to pull side approach with rotational bat path through the zone. Present bat speed and leverage in frame with impact out front. Excellent student.
