Jacob Hendricks '21 Recruiting Profile

I'm a 2021, two-sport athlete from D.W. Daniel High School in Central, SC (5'8", 175lb).  I've been the starting SS for my high school team as an 8th grader on JV and freshman on Varsity,  then transitioned to 2B as a sophomore on Varsity, playing both SS and 2B.  I earned the position of starting middle linebacker for my high school football team as a sophomore and continued in the position my junior season.  The weightlifting program and speed and agility workouts have helped me improve not only on the football field, but on the baseball field, too.  I believe one of my strongest assets that I could bring to a program is my determined work ethic.  I work hard, putting forth maximum effort in not only sports, but in the classroom, too.  I am self-motivated, self-disciplined, and a coachable athlete.  I'm a strong, capable leader, and I believe in the importance of being a team player; doing what it takes to be successful overall.  In baseball, I love the game, and view my power, speed, and understanding of the game as strengths.  I'm a good student and plan to attend a 4 year university, majoring in Business, Marketing, or Pre-Law.  My goal is to play baseball at the next level and hope I have the opportunity to continue to develop as a player and fulfill my dream of playing at the collegiate level.
