Since my mother is a school counselor, we have had a lot of talks about my future goals. I would love to play baseball for a living someday but I know how tough it is to make it there. My cousin was playing with the Giants franchise and shared his journey with me. I will work to reach that goal but I also plan on studying biology and would love to work with aquatic animals. When I think of what makes me different, I think of what my travel coach told me at a young age. He said, when it comes to baseball, I have a unique combination of natural ability and drive that he doesn't see that often in ball players. I try to prove that every day with my effort. I have loved sports since the day I was born. My mother tells me that I was hitting off a batting tee before I turned two. I have played other sports, such as football and basketball, but I feel most at home on the baseball field. I believe that I would be a great asset to a team because of my drive and dedication to being the best player I can be. There is no one that will work harder than me to improve. I won an award in school my eighth grade year for having grit and I think that best describes who I am. I am a competitor. I will never give up. I have not always had the easy road in life and I think that makes me stronger. I am also very coachable. I don't struggle with being able to change something when a coach notices a concern. I pick up on things very quickly. But most importantly, I play this game because I absolutely love it. I always will. So if you are looking for a player who is dependable, coachable, talented, and confident than take a look at me. I may be from a small town but I have big dreams and I plan to work until they come true.
