Elijah Clements '21 Recruiting Profile

I think what makes me a good candidate is that I am a natural born athlete. Being raised in South Carolina, although I was born in New Jersey, opened me up to new doors in sports that helped me be more physically strong. Baseball is the sport that I really truly love and everything I do is to ensure the fact that I will be successful in this sport. My attitude is great and I'm a very flexible student athlete. I will do whatever I can do help the team and no matter what I will respect coaches wishes. My athletics also help me to standout because I am one of the fastest people around South Carolina and I also have a very good vertical jump. My academics are very important to me as a student athlete because I know that if I don't do good in school I will not have the chance to do good on the field. I have gotten on the honor roll repeatedly every year since elementary school, while being in the ALERT program given to kids who are gifted and talented and have grades above the standard for their class. Right now I attend the INC magnet program at Kelly Mill Middle School that is for students who are also gifted and talented and beyond the school standard. My overall goals is to further continue my education and play Major League Baseball as well as college baseball.
