Landon Harper '24 Recruiting Profile

I am Landon Harper, a 18 year old Senior and starter for the Franklin Road Academy varsity baseball team. I strive to maintain academic success, carrying a 4.44 GPA and 33 ACT,  along with continuing my baseball career at the college level. My abilities in the classroom carry over to the baseball field as I have adapted to playing a variety of positions on the field for my team, and have been deemed very coachable by my coaches. 

One of my strengths is my aggressiveness and decision making on the bases, creating my own opportunities to score runs and set up my teammates for success. In addition, I am a reliable hitter consistently on top of team batting averages and performing in clutch situations. I am a true competitor and will do whatever the team needs in order to win even if it does not benefit my stats. I am a very good situational hitter who can spray the ball to all parts of the field and do as my coaches need me to, in order to help the team win.

I have been dedicated and committed to baseball since I was 4, while also playing other sports such as basketball, football, and wrestling along the way. Despite my late start in receiving professional coaching and training in the past couple years, I have made big jumps and still have potential to grow a lot more as a player. I am a leader on and off the field, and do my best to be a good role model for my team (especially the younger players), and bring everyone together as one. I look forward to bringing my versatility, dedication, and good attitude to benefit a college that helps me to maximize my potential on and off the field.
