Landon Wink '20 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. My name is Landon Wink and I have been playing baseball since I was old enough to hold a ball. Since I can remember, I have aspired to earn a college degree and to play sports at the collegiate level. I have been lucky to play sports at the High School level and Select Level, however I know that playing at the College level would be an opportunity of a lifetime.

My parents own their own business and have always worked hard which is why I am always working to improve my skills as well as training to get bigger, faster and stronger. No matter what grade I am in, I have always considered myself a team leader and try to lead by example. My current Head Coach preaches about being coachable and I couldn't agree more with what he says. While I make mistakes, I try to learn from them, listen to what he teaches me and become a better player/man from it.

I attend a college preparatory school and I understand the value of my education. I work very hard at maintaining a high GPA and am also working on studying for my SAT and ACT tests. My family and I are very active in our church, Graceview Baptist Church and we have attended several local and overseas mission trips.

My goal is to find the right college for me academically and athletically. It is also very important to me to be able to make an impact on the school I attend. I have always been taught to make sure you are leaving a positive mark on the world and I would want to make sure I am the best representative of the College and Program that I attend.
