I am a good candidate for your team because I’m quick to learn and teachable. I take corrections immediately and apply them to the the next play rather than the next game. I’m different than other recruits because I will always give 110 percent and be a positive leader of the team, both on and off the field. My collegiate goals are to attend a school that will allow me to show off my athleticism in baseball games, but one that will also hold me accountable for my grades and make sure that I am doing my best outside of the field in my classes.

- Matthew Mitchell is a 2022 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Grapevine, TX who attends Faith Christian. Has a physical frame with present strength. Ran an 8.12 second sixty-yard dash. Primary third baseman, that has slow and methodical footwork and very segmented actions to field. Shows some god range to the glove side, highlighting the third base profile. Has developing arm strength, and shows the ability to make throws from multiple slots at 72 miles per hour. Has a square stance at the plate, with a high hand set and wrapped bat at load. Has a developing shift to contact, staying on the back side at times. Shows developing bat speed, flashing the ability to get hands extended and make contact out front.
