My name is Sean Brownson and I am a right-handed pitcher who will be graduating from high school in 2021. Ever since I began playing baseball it has been my goal to play it for as long as I was physically able and so I am looking for that opportunity at the college level. Though I grew up playing other sports along with baseball, it has always been my favorite, the one I was always the most passionate about. My coaches have always recognized me for my hard work, my effort during games and practices, and for being a great teammate. On the mound, I’ve always gotten innings due to my ability to throw strikes and am constantly working on getting stronger and becoming a better pitcher.
In the classroom, I have tried to challenge myself with honors and Advanced Placement classes. Though baseball has always been my one true love, I know that my baseball career will not last forever and I will need a good education to prepare me for the rest of my life. I am still undecided on a major but I am considering majoring in business or working on becoming a teacher and coach once I graduate from college. My current high school GPA is 3.16 out of 4.00 and I scored a 1260 on my SAT.
I am looking for a college that will allow me to get the best education possible while also allowing me to continue playing the game I love for as long as I can.
