Anthony Jones II '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a goal oriented person. When I set goals I won't stop until I get them. I will never give up on this game and I feel like I would fit perfectly into a program and provide it with top talent. I believe I would be successful in any program and help the baseball team. I provide a bat that will be consistent throughout the season and I consider myself a 5 tool player. I bring a strong arm and speed in the outfield as well as on the bases. I am a leader on any team that I've played for since I started playing baseball. I've always been one of the top players on the teams I've been a member of. However, I can also follow if that's what required. I focus on bettering myself each day, as well as the team, because the team's success is ultimately what matters. I can promise that I will give maximum effort and get after it every time I step between the lines. I promise hustle on and off the field and staying focused.

Also, the mental game is a big part for me. I focus on the things I can control and forget the things I can't. I am also a great student so you will never have to worry about my grades. I will never be in trouble and will push my teammates to get better on and off the field. When it comes to my goals, I want to be the best. I don't train to be second. My ultimate goal is to be the best player I can be and help my team get to Omaha. This is my game and I love it!
