Kobi Valchar '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Kobi Valchar; I am currently a Junior and attend Sacred Heart Catholic High School in Halletsville, Tx. I was born on September 14, 2004 in Victoria, Tx. I am currently 6'3" and 240 LBS. I am a right handed hitter and right handed thrower. My primary position is 3rd and my secondary position is RHP, although I will play 1st if need be. In my own words plain and simple, I am a ball player I love the game of baseball. Since the age of four I have played the game. I respect the game and all the people I have played with. I have had the opportunity to learn the game from many great coaches. I know without them I wouldn't be the player that I am today. There is always more to learn. I am  very coachable and quiet, I respect everyone around me. I've started the past two years at 3rd on varsity level. I have been hitting 3rd in the lineup, and I think that suits me well. Although I'm a power hitter and can hit the ball 390 ft, I will get a base knock or get on base some way or another. I played with Twelve Baseball in Katy, Tx for 6 years until times got tough and couldn't financially work out. I then was at home working to get better the single year I didn't play select, getting ready for high school ball. My 8th grade summer going into freshman year I played with Central Texas Storm. I got to see a lot of talent in the tournaments we played in. As a 14 year old I held my ground against the 18U teams. Out of school I like to spend time with family growing bigger bonds. I also love to workout and get better hitting off the tee or going to the field to hit. I would love to major in Civil Engineering and get my bachelors degree.
