Jake Wooten '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'11" 185lb infielder from Pflugerville, Texas and will graduate in the 2011 class. My goal is to get an education while playing baseball. I have been playing baseball since I was 4 years old. In 2010 I received the UIL 25-AAAAA 1st Team All-District-Second Base Award / listed in the Top 20 for hits in the Central Texas Final Statistics/ listed in the Central Texas final statistics for runs scored. I have started for the Varsity team for 2 years. During the summer/fall I play on a traveling select team. I love the game of baseball and it is my dream to play in college. I am always at the cage and on the field improving my skills with any free time I have. My goal is to play as a college freshman, to play at the highest competition level possible and to lead a team by example on and off the field. I believe I would be an asset for any college team.
