Growing up we relocated several times and I've lived in Lufkin TX, Buda TX, Coppell TX, Haslet TX, and Ponder TX by the time I was 15 years old. Moving to new cities and new schools has helped me to adapt quickly to change and to be better prepared for new experiences and challenges.
My goal as a high school freshman was to make the varsity baseball team and I was able to accomplish that goal. As a freshman my offensive stats during district play: AB's 25, BA .320, OBP .370, OPS 1.05, SLG .680. During district play on varsity I hit 3 singles, 2 doubles, & 2 HR's. Our team finished 2nd in district to 3A State Champions, Boyd High School. At the end of the season, I was awarded 1st team all-district DH/3B.
We are returning a strong pitching core on varsity for the 2024 season led mostly by Seniors. I am working on improving my velocity and throwing a higher percentage of strikes in the zone in order to become a part of the pitching rotation. Playing alongside with the upperclassman has been extremely helpful and by my Junior year, I want to be the guy my coach can count on in big games on the mound and at the plate.
Academically, I would like to maintain a 3.5 or higher GPA to give myself the best chance for success in finding the right college for my academic and athletic skill set. I would like to earn a degree in business.
In my spare I like to hang out with friends and lift weights. I also am a big car guy and can talk about cars all day. I am a hard worker, I have a positive attitude, and I am very competitive. I hate to lose!!

Rick is a former MLB pitcher and played for the Orioles, Cleveland, and Texas Rangers. My hitting coach is Jon Lieber who was drafted by the New York Yankees. - Private Hitting lessons taken at DFW Athlete located in Southlake TX. Coach Lieber was drafted in the 46th round by the New York Yankees. However, he decided to dedicate more time to his craft by attending Navarro College for his freshman year. At Navarro, he earned All-American honors and was again noticed by the New York Yankees in the 34thround. His decision was to stay at Navarro college where he played two more years before transferring to the University of South Carolina to play for the Gamecocks. - Pitching Coach is Rick Bauer at DFW Athlete located in Southlake TX. Rick attended Treasure Valley Community College where he was the fifth-round draft pick. He made his Major League debut in 2001, becoming the first player to successfully make the Major Leagues from TVCC.
