September 2013Personal Statement
I have been playing baseball since I was 5 years old. When I was 7 years old I started playing select baseball. I played 1st, 3rd, and pitched in Local, State, and Regional tournaments and pitched in many Championship games while playing in USSSA, Super Series, and Triple Crown tournaments across the country. Playing and winning at this level of competition every year really prepared me for each level of competition that I have continued to face, along with what I will face at the collegiate level.
Now I am a senior at Sachse High School, and am looking forward to competing for another 6A District Championship. In addition to high school baseball, during the fall and summer I play for the Texas Toros 18U Showcase team, which is a mix of high school and collegiate players. We play in events around Texas, and I compete in National Spotlight and World Series invitational events nationally. One of my highlights this 2014 summer was pitching a Perfect Game in the Saints Baseball 18U Showcase tournament in Austin, TX..
My dream is to get offered a college scholarship to continue playing baseball, and hopefully continue playing baseball after I graduate from college.
