RILAN QUINONES '21 Recruiting Profile

   First, I want to Thank You for taking the time to read this.  My name is Rilan Quinones.  Here is a little about myself.  I am currently 6’3 and 194 pounds. I attend Winston Churchill High School and I will be a Senior this upcoming year. I currently have a 3.7 gpa. I love meeting new people and no one is a stranger to me. I always try and make sure my first impression is the best.  My passion is baseball and have been playing since I was four years old. When I was 10 years old I had to write down goals at school. They were as followed: play in the LLWS, play in the CWS, play on ESPN and make it as a Major League Baseball Player. It’s awesome to know I have been able to scratch one of these goals off my list. That goal was to play in the LLWS and it was accomplished in 2015. I am a STUDENT  and an athlete.  For the past seven years I have learned how to balance school, practice, private sessions, workouts and family.  When I attend College it will not be too challenging to balance my passion and the classroom. I love my life and couldn’t imagine it any other way.  I would love the opportunity to attend college and PLAY baseball at a collegiate level. I know I would make a difference in the classroom and on the field. I am a team player and take corrective criticism very well. I am a humble athlete. I feel blessed to be playing the game of baseball and don’t take anything for granted. I know hard work over talent is what will get me to the next level. I love seeing the results of my hard labor on the field and in the classroom. Thank you again for taking time out of your busy schedule to read my statement.
