Personal Statement
My baseball life began at age 4 when I could participate in Little League. After that I was hooked and made the choice to play travel ball at age 9. This is where I began to develop as a player. I could play with athletes older than me, which allowed me to mature as a ball player and a teammate. It enhanced my work ethic and my drive to be an all-around player. Which is one reason I believe I was able to make the varsity team as a freshman. Making varsity was a goal I had set for myself and one I was proud to accomplish. I was used as a utility player, pitching, catching, left field, right field and second base. If I had to choose to play one position, I would have to say pitching is my favorite, but simply being on the field is important to me. My ultimate goal is not only to play at the next level, but to excel as a teammate and ball player.
