I have been tumbling since I was two years old. Ever since I stepped foot in the gym, I knew this was my passion. In 6th grade, I tried out for the junior high cheer squad. It was at that point that I discovered my love of cheer because I was able to incorporate my tumbling into cheer while also being a part of amazing stunts. My first year of cheer brought me to life! I have been cheering ever since. Cheering, tumbling and stunting are what drive me. My personal mantra in everything that I do is: All In, All the Time!
I have strong tumbling skills, tight motions, strong jumps and the diversity and experience to be a flyer or a base. In addition to that, I am a team leader and do my best to set an example for others, on the field or in the classroom. I am a great motivator and have a positive disposition. My personality and upbringing allows me to be very coachable. I look for opportunities to receive feedback because I know that this will only make me a stronger student/athlete. My positivity, encouragement and desire to succeed allowed me the opportunity to be named Varsity Cheer Captain as a Junior for the 2022-2023 school year. I look forward to finishing out my senior year strong and leading my squad again.
On the academic side, I apply that same drive and work hard to maintain good grades. My hard work in the classroom and dedication to my studies has paid off, as currently I have a 4.0 GPA as we finish the first semester of school. I am also a member of the National Honor Society. My goal is to attend a college where I can push myself academically and athletically. I am not restricting myself to anything and am leaving myself open to all options. Ultimately I want to find a college that is best fit for me, academically and athletically. I seek to cheer at the highest level possible, positively impacting myself, others and the college that I choose. Above all else, I want to become a successful student, athlete, and role model, and make my parents proud.
