Kelly Posada '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Kelly Posada. I am 17 and have played baseball since I was 7 years old. I want to play competitive baseball for as long as I can and would love to play professionally if possible. I am currently 6'2" but am still growing and even though I'm lighter than I'd like to be right now I gained 15 lbs between my sophomore and junior seasons and plan on replicating that growth for my senior year. My greatest strengths are my batters eye and my pitch movement and I am as competitive as they come. I am a great defender at shortstop and third base and I pride myself on my versatility, being able to play every position but catcher with at least average defense, and have even been working on my catching ability. My arm is strong and accurate and my speed has steadily increased into an asset. In college I would like to major in either zoology or biology and I don't mind playing at a junior college to start my career.
