I can compete in high levels of competition and will compete to my best ability when challenged by higher level players and situations. Playing highly competitive travel ball from 10u – 14u taught me time management skills at a young age.
One strong trait of mine is the ability to fight and overcome tough situations. I have faced problems in my life just as everyone has, but one thing that sets me apart from others is that at the age of nine I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. This strength has given me the ability to work through challenges on and off the field. I will fight through any adversity to the best of my ability.
I can fit in and get along with just about anyone. One big reason I want to continue my baseball career, besides my love for the sport, is that I love to be a part of a team. To me it is like having a family of brothers that work together and share the same interest.
Living in a small town, I have always had to travel for competitive baseball and coaching. I truly want to be part of a program that can coach me on and off the field. I believe playing baseball while attending college will make me a more successful adult.
