James Marshall '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing Baseball since 3rd grade and have always had the natural God-given gift of throwing hard. Since I felt the warm accomplishing feeling of striking someone out of getting a base hit I knew that this was just the sport that was cut out for me. I  have always looked up to the guys who play college baseball and aspire to be just like them. I am very coachable and have a high baseball IQ. I work hard year-round to strive for perfection every day by weight lifting, living in the cages, and playing golf and basketball to boost my athletism. My goal is to be disciplined and one of the hardest-working recruits you'll find. disciplined. In the classroom, my goal is to keep a high GPA and balance academics with athletics. I am helping Coach youth baseball teams and camps this summer and hope to become the role model that these kids look up to in hopes that they look at me the same way that I look at college athletes.
