Brock Porter '18 Recruiting Profile

I'm a 6'2'', 200lb RHP from Bedford, VA with my fastball and curve increasing in mph every year.  When not pitching I play left field and shortstop.  I'm a member of the Varsity football team starting at quarterback the last two seasons, I've also been a member of the Varsity basketball team.   My sophomore year I pitched in 8 games, which includes starting and closing.  Although I play in a competitive district I earned honorable mention all-conference and all-district my sophomore season.  I have been playing baseball since I was 5 years old and have always dreamed of playing and starting at the collegiate level.  I'm a serious student as I am taking 3 AP classes this year (Junior year),  while maintaining a 3.8 GPA.   I took the SAT this past December and scored 1110 and I scored a 20 on my ACT this past Spring.  While I haven't fully decided, I'm leaning towards Business as my major.
