Evan Oakley '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a lifelong Baseball player who loves the game and want’s to continue playing it. Throughout my life, Baseball has been one of my only constants, making it something that I can enjoy at any time. While playing Baseball, I have grown as a leader, and have become a coachable, hard working, team player that does not put his own needs first. 

I take all of my roles in life seriously, and do not back down when faced with adversity. As a leader, I lead by example, keeping good composure and body language, while still having fun playing the game I love. Most importantly, I learn from my failures and utilize them to make me better.

My goals as both an athlete and an academic are as follows:

·   Academically, to obtain a 4-year engineering degree 

·   To serve in the military either through ROTC or by attending a service academy

·   As a baseball player, I want to be on a team that is a good fit where I can contribute on and off the field, as a pitcher and teammate in general
