Like my academic studies, I continue to learn something new every day about the game of baseball. I would like to continue to grow at the next level in both academics and baseball. I am a great student and enjoy learning and applying what I learn. I apply the same level of focus, study, and effort to baseball as I have in the classroom. I'm looking forward to a new school, a new team, and growing as a student and ball player.
A couple of things that most people don't know about me; I am an accomplished cellist. I play in the high school Chamber Symphonic Orchestra and I have also performed with a local professional orchestra. I am also a volunteer at the Hartwood Fire Station in Stafford County. I am a junior fire fighter and I am taking classes to become an emergency medical technician.
My goals and aspirations revolve around my love of the game and my desire to help improve peoples lives through medicine. I would like to study biomedical engineering to help design future prosthetic devices and implants. If a university doesn't have a biomedical program, I would study electrical or mechanical engineering and then continue my education with a master degree in biomedical engineering. All that being said, what ball player doesn't dream of being drafted into Major League Baseball. To me, it's a win-win. I love to play baseball and I would love to have the opportunity to continue with my education and also play my favorite sport at the same time.
