Jan ‘25 Update
After my summer travel season, I decided to play football for my school. Started at linebacker and had a great season. Lead the team in sacks and tackles for loss.
Over the past month have been running on the track team and getting ready for the spring Varsity baseball season. Weekly Hitting and pitching lessons with regular workouts with my schools strength and football head coach.
May '24 Update
I had a great Varsity season this spring. I was voted 2nd Team All-Conference and voted Co-MVP of my team. My batting average was .324, lead the team with extra base hits (10), second in RBI (17), first in runs scored (25) and first in stolen bases (11). I played CF and had 34 putouts without committing an error. Looking forward to playing travel ball this summer with the Canes Central Scout 16u Team.
October ’23 Update
For this Fall season I played with the 18U Canes Coastal Prospects as a Sophomore. This allowed me to play on a team that my pitching coach is involved with. Ended up with 10 hits and a .345 average in 13 games. Pitched 14.1 innings over the 4 weekends of baseball. Best outing was 4.0 IP, 3 hits, 0 R/ER, 0 BB and 4 SO with 58 pitches. Offseason program will be weight training at school and arm strength training with my pitching coach.
August '23 Update
The Canes 2026 Central Scout summer season has finished. The team had a good season and we played 25 games. Ended up with 22 hits, a .423 batting average, .536 on-base percentage in 69 plate appearances. All games were played with a wooden bat. I also pitched for the team. My velocity has increased over the past year and I consistently hit 80 mph off the mound. Working with a pitching coach to further increase my velocity over this fall and winter to get ready for the next Varsity season.
May ‘23 Update
We just finished our Varsity Baseball Season. My team had a great season and we made it to the state semifinals. I was starting centerfielder as a Freshman. Varsity baseball is a faster pace game and I learned alot in the field and at the plate by seeing harder hit balls and hitting against some D1 commited senior pitchers.
I felt I helped the team in the field and was able to get 12 hits, 11 walks, 11 RBIs, 8 stolen bases and scored 17 runs in 21 games.
Travel season with Canes Central Scout team starts the first week of June.
