Personal Statement
My goal is to go into engineering and go for my masters degree. I have a strong aptitude for math and I enjoy working with and helping others. My hope is to be able to get a job to support myself and my family along with coach high school baseball if possible.
I'm very coachable and eager to learn. I'm also not afraid to lead the team. As the captain of the JV basketball team, captain of varsity baseball, captain of my fallball baseball team, and I enjoyed being a positive example for my team mates. I give it 110% and I'm eager to play hard all the time.
My freshman year I recieved several awards academically but was most honored by the Spirit of Chelan award. This award is given to 2 students in their class for their positive attitude, helpfulness and being a positive roll model.
I know that the most important thing in my life is school and I work very hard to maintain the highest grades possible. Education is the key to my future and I realize that to get into a good college I need to keep that focus.
I believe that I might be different from other recruits because of my strong work ethics in school and sports but also by being a positive roll model to others. I am also someone who doesn’t complain about playing time and only wishes to improve my skills so that I can help myself out but more importantly, my team. If I am at the best that I can be then it will help my team out as well.
