Personal Statement
I grew up with my grandmother who, for 17 years, has been struggling financially in order for me to have an easy, comfortable life. For most of my life I've been a bit of a recluse, however my years in high school have really helped me come out of my shell. Through baseball, making friends has become a lot easier, and the relationships I've built with my fellow teammates have really helped me excel in my academics. I stand at the top of my class GPA wise, showing how hard I work towards my goals. I treat baseball the same way I treat my academic career; with seriousness, dedication, and integrity. Once I take up something, I never put it down.
