Personal Statement
On the court, I am a valuable asset to my team because I set goals, then work hard to attain them. I trust in the process and don't take shortcuts. Most importantly, I conduct myself with honor and respect - on and off the court - because I realize my actions reflect my team, my coaches and the school I attend.
As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my basketball career, I will build on my inner desire to succeed. I may not always win, but I am resilient and a fighter and cross the finish line having given it my all.
My high school career has ended so now I turn to what comes next. I envision my college years to be a time of personal improvement and growth. My plan is to continue to focus on academics, as well as basketball, and realize I still have so much to learn to reach my potential.
