Personal Statement
I am the oldest of three boys, as the big brother I have learned to lead from an early age. I want to attend College and study business and hopefully learn a trade that will keep my hands and mind busy. I began working when I was 14 years old at construction company doing odd jobs during my winter, spring, and summer breaks. I do not mind getting dirty to get the job done right. I'm currently taking welding class so that I can repair and make things with my hands. In late January 2018 my Grandpa, Dad and I completed my 1956 Ford truck restoration just in time for my 16th birthday in February. I quickly learned there is a lot of details that go into a quality finished product.
I am a two sport athlete; I play football as a defensive end and wide receiver and baseball I play 1st base, pitch and right field. I have taken weights class my freshman, sophomore and Junior year to help build my strength and conditioning. I train personally with Steven Whitehead at Elite Athletic training as often as my schedule will allow and I have a hitting coach I work with once a week.
I believe that I can manage my school work and training to make your baseball program better.
