Personal Statement
I play select baseball for Seattle Wave and I am on my high school baseball team. Select baseball has really helped me learn many life and team work skills such as trusting others, solving problems by myself and with others, confidence, and determination. I work as hard as I can on and off the field training and trying to improve my skills with camps, lessons, and workouts. I have the ability to adapt to change and I can become comfortable in uncomfortable situations. I strongly believe in emulating the people that are the best and understanding the reasons behind it whether it be for baseball or school. At school I pride myself on being a straight A student by challenging myself academically by taking Honors and AP classes. Being at the top of my class and getting good grades is very important to me and is a goal of mine every year. I maintain a 3.95 accumulative GPA and I am an active member of the National Honors Society. I have worked at WBI baseball club assisting the owner and coaching baseball camps for the past three years. I also volunteer and I am an active member at my Church. My hobbies include snowboarding, fishing, and I recently acquired my boating license. Competitiveness is a huge part of my personality. I always compete as hard as I can on the ball field and in the classroom.
