Personal Statement

Hi Coach, thanks for looking at my profile! First I would like to say that I take my academics very seriously. Last year I recorded a 3.8 GPA and have never fallen below a 3.6. But when it comes to baseball, I'm a primary catcher who can play first base. I love the action and leadership of catching, especially communication with my pitcher and infielders. I can swing the bat too. Hitting for avg' is something I have always done, but hitting for power is where I stand out.  I want to win, that's why I'm willing to execute a squeeze, hit and run, or block a spiked fastball if it means I help the team win. Thanks for your consideration!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
