Personal Statement

Like many kids, I’ve always dreamed of playing in the MLB, but my current goal is to play at least college level baseball, while receiving a good education at a top level school. I come from a very competitive & athletic family & all of us have a strong knowledge in health & fitness with a dedication, perseverance & focus like no other. We all train around the clock because we love it, not because we have to. This is one of the biggest ways I set myself aspart from other teammates. I’m always working on my own time & I’m super motivated to spend every day doing something that gets me better. Another thing that sets me apart from other players is my baseball IQ. I’m quick & feisty in the outfield, & being that I’m a pitcher too, I can read pitches well & I’m good at adjusting my swings depending on the count or the pitcher & I’m always analyzing my opponents' moves. This knowledge makes me a very good teammate because I’m always helping players out, while also being able to improve myself. I’m very serious & competitive when I play, but I'm also uplifting and caring. I’m not bossy & this makes me a good leader. I like to motivate my teammates in a positive way & I’ll always be the first person to try & lift up anyone who’s feeling down.

I’m very interested in health, nutrition, body mechanics, physics & overall movement and mobility. I’d like to work in sports medicine or own my own physical therapy clinic one day, while coaching a high school baseball team on the side. I love teaching, helping & working with players. I’m really good at noticing the smallest things in peoples' swings or throwing mechanics where I think can help them. I’ve always held academics as a top priority & I’ve been an honor roll student my entire life. I worked a year ahead in elementary school & took many honors & AP classes throughout middle & high school.

I was a starting OF on my varsity baseball team this year and I ended the season with the highest offensive stats in most categories (81 PA, .387 AVG, .475 OBP, 24 RBIs). Our team finished 22-5 and 4th in State, in the toughest league in Washington. This summer I played 18U baseball, while attending many showcases, including an honor roll showcase I'll attend in Sept. In my spare time you’ll find me on the golf course, in the gym, snowboarding or on my boat, wakesurfing. I also like to draw and play my bass. Besides varsity baseball, I also play on the varsity golf team & enjoy soccer as well. My family is always on the move. When we’re not traveling for baseball, we’re either at our mountain cabin snowboarding or going somewhere hot, so my family can surf & I can golf. My brother played baseball in high school & my dad has been the best baseball dad ever, building me a 65’ cage & a mound during covid, so he could catch for me while I continued to practice. Both my parents have been super supportive & have never missed one of my games.
I live and breathe baseball & I just love this sport. I have endless drive & because of this, you need me on your team:)

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
