David "Davy" McKinney '19 Recruiting Profile

     For some time, I have wanted to join my cousin in his chiropractic practice.  My collegiate goals involve preparing myself to apply to chiropractic school following graduation.   I know that my grade point average is not what it should be at the moment, but I have had to overcome several obstacles in my younger years.  I am attempting to close the gap between where I am academically and where I want to be.  

     I was raised in an "old school" manner where the team is more important than me.  In this day and age, it's easy to overlook a player who quietly and steadily produces results while putting his teammates first.  I am the kind of player who rejoices with his teammates' victories and tries to pick them up when they're struggling.  I have had many coaches to tell my father that I am a good team guy.  I have developed a reputation of being steady and consistent.  I may not be flashy, but day-to-day, you know what you will be getting - a respectful, team-oriented, hard-working player who wants to do more than just show up.
