Nicholas Lawrence '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches,

My collegiate goals are pretty straightforward, I aspire to graduate college with a four year degree, and anything else that follows is a blessing. What makes me a good candidate for your team is my team first mentality and my determination to improve as an individual. From my Junior season to my Senior season I made undeniably large strides.  Junior year I was a PO on varsity, and flash forward to senior year, I am the 2nd leading hitter on my team and hit 2nd in the lineup. Playing in a tough conference like the FVA, we face 85mph on a nightly basis, and I have adjusted very well, with a high contact and low strikeout rate. What separates me from other players is simply my attitude. I have always been a team leader on every team I've ever played on, but not the team leader you would normally imagine. I will admit I am not the most vocal player out there, but coaches can back up that I lead by a positive attitude and by example while on the field, and that is something I hope to continue shall I play at the next level.
