Personal Statement

I am a distance freestyler from Appleton, Wisconsin graduating in 2022. I am a hard worker in and out of the pool and am dedicated to working with my coaches to continuously improve my times. In addition to competing in the pool, I have also participated in several open water races. Most notably, I raced in the 2019 Sharkfest Alcatraz which is a 1.5 mile cold water race from Alcatraz Island to the shore in San Francisco. I'm looking for a college experience that will challenge me both physically and academically while also allowing me to develop lifelong relationships with my teammates.
