Personal Statement

My goal is to play baseball for a university with a challenging academic program and competitive business school. To achieve this goal, I have worked really hard academically, consistently achieving honors and high honors, and put in as many hours as I can after my school work is done at the baseball facility working on drills, speed training and hitting.

I have been chosen as team captain and as a leader at my school because people notice how hard I work, have a high opinion of me as a friend and leader and see how I in turn show respect and encourage everyone else to be their best. What makes me stand out above the others is my strong work ethic, strong character, leadership skills, commitment to teamwork and positive attitude.

On the field I am a strong competitor because of my mental toughness, baseball IQ, athletic skills, competitive drive and genuine love for the game. I believe I have the talent, work ethic, character and leadership to make an immediate impact on your program and will do everything I can to make this goal a reality.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
