My name is Charlie Schnell and I am a Junior at New Holstein High School. I have lived in New Holstein my whole life and have been very involved in sports since I was a little kid. I grew up with three brothers, spending every moment of summer vacation in the backyard playing baseball and football. I have been involved in three varsity sports since I was a sophomore--Baseball, Football and Track. I enjoy competition and strive to better myself to reach my goals, as well as my teams goals. Working as a team has taught me a lot about myself and how to work well with others to reach a common goal. I am hoping to take these skills with me and apply everything I have learned--- not only to baseball, but also to my career in the future. As the Varsity quarterback for New Holstein, I have demonstrated impeccable character and effective leadership skills and have brought the team together in times of success and defeat. My experience in baseball ranges from starting pitcher, shortstop, 3rd base, and other infield positions. I am able to play any position with success, and last season as a Sophomore, I earned All Conference for my position played at 3rd base. My love for the game continues to drive me, as well as teach me.
