Raymond Wuerth '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Raymond Wuerth, I'm a guy from a small town called Cheyenne, Wyoming. My goals and aspirations as a player and student is to give other people from small towns hope that they too can make it, and I want to chase a degree in the medical field as I've always had a knack for learning more and being able to figure out the really interesting galaxy we live in which is why i want to study astrophysics, and i want to help people in any way i can. I'm a team player, I realize a team is bigger than one man and I'm willing to work my tail off for my spot on a team, being from Wyoming I havent had the same opportunities as most and all of my work ethic and athletic abilities have been self taught, now this is no way of making excuses, but I have passion for this game and I want to show not only my family and friends, but also myself that I can achieve my dreams with the right support. And I won't stop, I feel this is something I need to do, I love baseball but I love succeeding too, and college is the first step. My grades haven't been the best the past two years as covid took a huge toll on my family and I, but with alot of hard work and a little bit of luck by keeping a 4.0(all a's) over the next two year I could graduate with approximately a 3.2 GPA. I'm a junior so my ACTs will be taken this upcoming spring, and my SAT next year. Thank you for the patience and effort.
