Ty Sturlaugson '18 Recruiting Profile

I love baseball.  I have been playing since I was 12 years old and I watch baseball every day.  My favorite baseball team is the Boston Red Sox because they have a lot of history, class, and play as a baseball family.  I currently play for our local Legion team, the Green River Knights.  I was selected to the All Tournament Team in our Junior Varsity State Tournament in 2016.  I play first base but have played other positions such as third base and outfield.  I have attended baseball camps in Utah and Arizona to better my skills as a baseball player.  

Off the baseball field I participate in other sports such as Football, Track, and Swimming while maintaining an A average GPA.  I play drums with our school band and highly enjoy woods class.  I am enrolled in AP courses and am a member of the National Honor Society.   My collegiate goals and aspirations are to go to college to play baseball and earn a degree in the Dentistry field.  I am a very hard worker, dedicated, and I try to be successful at everything I do.  I strive to be the best student and athlete I can be.
