Hi, I’m Georgia Brasfield and I’m from Burbank, California. I’m currently a Junior at John Burroughs High School and will graduate in Spring 2026. I currently have a 4.0 GPA, am taking AP level courses, and am dually enrolled at Pasadena City College. I’m also in the NAF Medical Academy, have completed an 80-hour internship, and am a volunteer.
I was a competitive gymnast through Level 6, then I based in Cheer for two years. Now, I’m in my second year as a Flyer for group and partner stunts. I’m also a level 3 tumbler. I would love to continue to cheer and stunt in college. I’m a team player. I not only get a big thrill when I acquire a new skill, but when my teammates do. I always have a positive attitude and demonstrate empathy. I’m a good listener, am respectful, and committed.
I currently do Varsity High School Cheer (Fall) and Stunt (Spring). Our cheer team consists of Game Day for our school’s football, basketball, and volleyball, Spirit for school events such as pep rallies, and Competition (WCC, Jamz, CIF, and USA Cheer). Last Season, I was JV Cheer Team Captain of an all-girl team and was awarded MVP and Best Work Ethic by my coaches and teammates. Spring 2024 was our Varsity High School Stunt Team’s initial season. We became Pacific Coast League Champions and a CIF Finalist, Southern Section, in the Co-ed Stunt Championships. Personally, I was awarded Rookie of the Year by my coaches.
My goal in college is to get my BS in Nursing in a 4-year Direct Admit Program. I’m looking forward to learning more about colleges and universities that offer strong academics along with an athletic opportunity for me to continue to cheer/stunt.
