Mya Genovese - I am currently a senior at Grand Island High School, Grand Island, NY. I am the cheerleading captain of our varsity football squad. I recently was awarded a spot with UCA All American cheer team. I also compete competitively on a level 4 team at Elite Heat All Stars in Tonawanda, New York. I have attended Camp Woodward in PA the last 2 summers. I was awarded the "Most Spirited" award at the University of Buffalo Cheer Competition for high school teams. Last year I was chosen as MVP and received the "Big Sister" Award at Elite Heat. I have competed at the Summit several times and placed top 10 one year. My position is a tumbler, along with being a backspot.
I love cheer and look forward to exploring options to cheer in college.
